we share embodied wisdom.
SoULL offers a variety of courses each year. Most classes are small, and include both teaching and embodied experiences. We learn and test our learning together. The core curriculum is taught in a sequence of full year programs, each with their own form and focus. You can read the descriptions of the SoULL years to the left. We encourage students to attend in person classes, however online classes can be very powerful for students if this is not an option.
Foundational ideas, what we call our human “life language”, are taught in the first Unit of the first Year (Pilgrim SoULL). This unit is called “The Nature of Being Human”. You can take it as part of our in-person training in Wisconsin as space allows. This program is also generally offered once a year online (winter/spring).
We are currently seeking CEU’s for social workers for some portions of Year 1 - Pilgrim SoULL. Other CEU’s may be available. If you are interested, ask us. We will confirm whether they are available for your profession.
In addition to the SoULL Years, we offer numerous short programs. You can find them on the Events page.
Who are these programs for?
Ordinary mortals. People who enjoy considering the mind and body as one, are curious about mortality, energy, and are willing to touch the unseen.
People confused about life, meaning, or death, or with an inexplicable stirring that says "I need this".
Social workers, family therapists, psychologists, healthcare workers, clergy, and end of life doulas who have or would like to have body-centered training.
Professionals in helping, teaching or healing work: somatic therapists, healers, yoga teachers, or bodyworkers.
People looking for training to support others with presence, depth and competence.
"This work certainly helped me figure out how to live the last quarter of my life. It has also helped me with clients in my psychotherapy practice and in my teaching....I recommend it to all ages but especially to the 60 somethings and on. Life vs Death is not the solution."
